You can create an account using your email address or by signing in with Google. Open the app, tap "Sign Up," and follow the prompts. Your account enables cloud sync across all your devices.
1. Tap the "+" button to start a new workout
2. Select or search for an exercise
3. Enter your sets, reps, and weight
4. Tap "Save" to log the set
5. Continue adding exercises and sets
6. Tap "Finish Workout" when done
Go to the Exercises tab, tap the "+" button, enter your exercise name and select the muscle group. Your custom exercises will be saved to your account and available across all devices.
Yes! When you're signed in, all your workout data is automatically backed up to the cloud using Firebase. You can access your data from any device by signing in with the same account.
Yes, Chalk works offline. Your workouts are saved locally and will sync to the cloud when you reconnect to the internet. This ensures you never lose data, even in areas with poor connectivity.
You can export your workout data from the Settings menu. Choose "Export Data" and select your preferred format. Your data belongs to you, and we make it easy to take it with you.
We support importing data from FitNotes and other popular fitness apps. Go to Settings > Import Data and follow the instructions for your specific app.
After logging a set, the rest timer automatically starts. You can customize the default rest time in Settings. The app will notify you with a sound when your rest period is complete.
Yes, you can track body weight and other measurements in the Progress section. These measurements are displayed alongside your strength progress charts.
Wearable support is on our roadmap. Currently, the app is optimized for phones and tablets. We're working on companion apps for popular smartwatches.
You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. Please note this action cannot be undone.

Tap "Forgot Password" on the sign-in screen and enter your email address. We'll send you instructions to reset your password. Check your spam folder if you don't receive the email within a few minutes.
